| Yatesville Lake, an impoundment of the Blain Creek, is the largest lake in far
eastern Kentucky and offers the best bluegill fishing.
The 2,300-acre mountain reservoir spans over twenty miles in length and is
dotted with three islands. Yatesville Lake offers plenty of room to skim the waves
or catch some rays in your favorite cruisecraft - be it a houseboat, pontoon, ski
boat or jet ski. The new Yatesville Marina, named the "Outstanding Project" in 1999
by the States Outdoor Boating Association, offers everything boaters and fishermen need
for lake fun. Afterwards, the catch of the day can be grilled in new Pleasant Ridge
Campground. Discover the magical appeal and bountiful recreational opportunities of
Eastern Kentucky in Yatesville Lake State Park. |
